Meet Ryan Ekmark, State of Infusion’s founder and CEO.
Ryan has worked in healthcare since 2003 and has been a registered nurse since 2010. He’s spent two decades in high-stakes environments—Emergency Rooms, Cardiovascular ICU, and Pre/Post-Op recovery units. Somewhere along the way, he’s started over 25,000 IVs (and counting). Around here, we call him the “hydration sensation.”
Ryan’s favorite part of nursing? Teaching. Whether it’s vitamins, peptides, or stem cells, he believes every client should leave feeling well-informed and maybe even laughing a little. “A little humor goes a long way in healthcare,” he says. “It helps people relax – and it’s way more fun.”
Outside of work, Ryan is a Christian, husband, and father of three active boys, who keep him busy on sidelines and ski slopes year-round. A proud Frisco resident since 2012, Ryan loves mountain biking, snowboarding, and occasionally building custom reclaimed wood art. He and his wife, Jennifer, also enjoy sneaking away to the beach whenever they can.
A self-proclaimed biohacking guinea pig, Ryan personally tries every therapy before recommending it. “If it’s on the menu, I’ve done it,” he says. “Our clients deserve real-world experience, not just textbook answers.”
As the founder of State of Infusion, Ryan’s two decades in the hospital system pushed him to build something different – a smarter, slower, more personalized kind of healthcare. One that treats people like people, not numbers. And yes, it helps that he’s quite possibly the most hydrated man in Texas.
